| A friend and I went to a really nice karaoke box in Sanjo (a part of Kyoto), where they had this gadget that let you pick songs that were popular at certain points in history. You could pick, for example, the time when a dollar was worth 308 yen (compared to the 99 or so it was when I was there), or -- prompting me to take the photo -- songs popular during the 2005 World Expo! |
