| Here's the Governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, with all the guides from the Great Lakes State! (The program was run out of Michigan State University, so there were many of us.) I'm to her immediate right. I was Ops that day (that is, coordinator of operations for the guide team). It was quite a challenge getting all the MI guides free from their positions while still staffing the pavilion enough to keep it running, let me tell you, but somehow we made it work. That is one of my favorite Expo memories. |
