Molly Claire is often called a geek, but anyone who gets to know her personality sees that, interests aside, she's really the opposite of that stereotypical personality. Molly has always been especially close to her dad, who had a love of chemistry growing up, and Molly shares that. Though all the Septuplets are extremely bright, Molly has excelled in particular in the sciences and considers chemistry not merely her favorite subject, but her hobby. She has a "laboratory" in the basement where she loves to set magnesium ribbon on fire and do other fun and harmless experiments. Well, mostly harmless anyway. As a science fiction fan, she would draw your attention to the previous sentence being a HitchGuide reference and suggests you read these books; she also is a great fan of Star Trek and anything relating to space exploration.

Far from fitting the stereotype of the sci-fi loving braniac, however, Molly is quite self-aware, poised, and sure of herself. Though she admittedly doesn't have tons of friends, the ones she has are close ones. She simply can not stand labelling people, so don't try calling her "the brainy one" to her face! Molly is extremely opinionated and will debate anyone willing (and some people who aren't willing) on anything from politics to ethics to the way people treat them as the world's only septuplets. The others call a certain dismissive, above-it-all look the "Molly eye-roll" because she uses it so often. Though she can be intimidating, she's at least aware of this and (usually) tries not to overwhelm people. She's also good at rising above the occasional negative comments about her family and evading people's well-meaning but invasive curiosity, for she values her privacy very much. Her personality may turn a few away, but there's no better protector than Molly.
